A settee full of history

Recovered in a rich golden damask fabric from Linwood, this settee truly oozes opulence and elegance. This style of frame was completely new to me, and I loved uncovering the history behind the drop-down arms, originally designed to accommodate wide hooped skirts or as a day bed.
