Traditionally Upholstered Sprung Chair with Picture Back

I'm currently working on this piece and just waiting on a really beautiful fabric delivery to complete it. This picture-back sprung chair is a piece I discovered in a ceramic artist's studio barn. Part of a salon suite, you may soon recognise other pieces from this collection joining the gallery.

Using traditional upholstery methods, I stripped the chair down entirely and rebuilt it from the frame up giving it a much-needed refresh, as its original contents were beyond saving. New springs and natural hair have given this chair a fresh start.
